I am so incredibly jealous of Jillian Michaels… not because she is the world’s most famous personal trainer and makes a ton more money than I do, but because she gets to train these three guys!

If Dave, or Keith, or Stuart or any of the other minions wanted me to train them, I would grab the job in a second!  But before they hired me, they should ask me these questions:

  1. What are your credentials?
  2. How much experience do you have?
  3. What is your fitness philosophy?
  4. What is your specialty?
  5. Where do you train your clients?
  6. Will you work with me on my nutritional needs?
  7. How often will we need to meet?
  8. Can you offer references?
  9. Will we do goal setting?
  10. What are your rates?

Once the minions have hired me, they should expect me to ask them these questions (if I don’t, maybe they’ve hired the wrong person):

  1. What is your exercise history?
  2. Do you have any previous injuries or illnesses?
  3. What medications and supplements do you take?
  4. What are your fitness goals?
  5. How much time will you be able to put into your exercise program?
  6. Will you do the homework exercises that I prescribe?
  7. Do you mind discussing your food and water intake with me weekly?
  8. How much sleep do you get?

Once the minions have hired me, they should expect me to gather and share with them the following information on our first session:

  1. Baseline girth measurements
  2. Baseline body fat measurement
  3. Baseline BMI
  4. Resting heart rate
  5. Blood pressure
  6. Target heart rate for working out
  7. Work on goal setting with them
  8. Explain my plans for helping them reach their goals

BTW, Bill and I have been obsessed with minions since we saw Despicable Me 2 on Saturday night.  Can you tell?  🙂
