Rain, Rain, and More Rain

I can’t pinpoint exactly what caused me to have a lackluster week, but I felt off even though I was completing my workouts as scheduled. I’m sure a week of rain with no sightings of the sun all week long until Friday didn’t help, but usually the weather doesn’t have such an effect on me. Whatever the case, I’m ready to move on and hope to not be so mopey this coming week.

Overview of the Week

Before discussing each day’s workouts, here’s an overview of my workouts from this past week. Scroll beyond the infographic for daily details…

I took advantage of another opportunity to multitask and hopped on my spin bike (affiliate link) to ride while virtually training my first client. Later in the day, I headed out in the rain for an easy run.

The weather was close to perfect for my later-than-planned run. While Bill opted to cycle, I knew I’d get too cold so I stayed closer to home. It’s funny how I’d happily head out for a ride in the fall under these temperatures, but in the spring I’m afraid of getting too cold.

Last Week’s Blog Posts

In case you skipped checking in on my blog this past week, here’s what you missed…

 Questions:
  • • How was your week? Meh, awesome, or somewhere in betweeen?
  • • What temperature thresholds do you set for different outdoor exercises? Does it vary between seasons?
  • • Did you run in a race this weekend?

And that’s my rundown… Have a great week!
