They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I’m going to keep it to five… And what better way to dump a lot of pictures on you that I took while on vacation, but didn’t use!
I have eclectic reading interests.
Bill’s beach trip dessert contributions
What a good wet boy
Seaweed and surf at sunrise
Our Fuze cell tower boosters
Post-run dip in the ocean
Post-run old fashioned camera selfie
Bill’s amazing super moon photo
Sun rays and the sea
It’ll do in a pinch
Their whinnying woke us up (at 4:30 AM)
I’m shamelessly pimping myself out
Until we return next summer…

Great pictures! What a fantastic trip. When I visit my friend’s cabin in the mountains, there is one tiny spot near a window where, if I am really lucky, I can get a signal on my phone. Your picture of the phones made me think of that.Whose dog? He sure looks proud of himself? And the lime chocolate looks fantastic!

We use our phones as hotspots, too, so we were trying to get the best reception possible!
The dog was playing with his human on the beach and when he came running toward me during my run, I snapped his picture. He was having so much fun!
I’m pretty much a fiction only reader – I love James Patterson and so many others!!
Glad you had a great vacation!

Thanks, our vacation was so fun!
I’m an eclectic reader too; that’s one of the reasons I love book clubs. I get to read books that I may not have chosen on my own. And that coconut dark chocolate looks heavenly! Enjoy this beautiful Sunday, Debbie.

The coconut dark chocolate was the only I tried, and it was delicious!
Looks like you had a great vacation! I’ve never been to OBX, I definitely need to get there! Where do you stay?

We own a house with Bill’s siblings. The Outer Banks is such a beautiful, relaxing place to vacation. You should go sometime!
Amazing! That moon! Those horses! So fantastic!
I’ll read pretty much anything. I prefer thick, heavy, character-driven books, but if there are words printed on a page, I’ll read them, LOL!
I don’t think I have any races til October (a half). I did do 9 miles this weekend, though.

And so proud of himself for getting the Frisbee out of the ocean, too!
I love your photos! The one of the moon is amazing. Looks like yall had a great time. I’m currently reading Blog INC and ordered Run Less Run Faster– have you read that one? I need to get some serious beach time in soon… Have a great week, Deb!

I haven’t read Run Less Run Faster, but know so many people that have. I’m intrigued!
Hope you’re having a fabulous birthday!
Love the picture of the dog! We saw a bunch of dogs who were able to be off leash and play fetch in the ocean and stuff. They’re so much fun to watch, because they’re just full of pure enjoyment. Bill got a great picture of the super moon, too. We didn’t have the best view of it, because it was a bit cloudy, but we could see it through the thin clouds. The tide was really crazy on the days around the super moon!

We were out late for dinner and for Bill to take sunset pictures on the night of the super moon and had to drive back up the beach at high tide in the dark. We had to hug the dune line in order not to drive in the water. The tide was crazy high!
