Let’s face it, Christmas shopping can be a drag when searching for the perfect gift for even the most special person on our list; and it can be even more difficult to come up with wish list ideas for ourselves. With this in mind, I’ve put together a list of gift ideas for runners, complete with links for your ease in shopping.
I’m only recommending items that I own and enjoy, or that come highly recommended from my close running friends. I’m sure that the special person on your gift list will be delighted to find any of these gifts under their tree.
Note: All of the links below (except for the =PR= Race Pass, BAMR Bands, and Race Dots) are affiliate links. By clicking on an affiliate link you will purchase your item the same was as always and for the same price; however, I will get a small commission for referring you.

Road ID are a must! I am so excited I just got a go pro for my birthday but haven’t figured out how to use it yet!

There’s definitely a learning curve with it. It just didn’t seem as user friendly at first, but now I love it. I got mine last year for my birthday, and didn’t really start using it by myself until late spring. Bill had a lot of fun with it until I finally started using it.
You have some good ones on there! I have a go pro on my christmas list!

That’s a great list you put together! I want the foam roller and the Feetures Compression socks!

I love my Feetures compression socks! I even wear them if I’m going to be doing a lot of blogging in one day where I’m not moving around as much.
The best running gift I’ve received is a new pair of shoes. I know – so practical and obvious! But seriously, they aren’t cheap and for someone else to shell out the big bucks – that meant a lot!

Anytime you don’t have to spend that kind of money for running shoes, it’s a good thing!
great list! I just need to print this out and leave it on my hubby’s desk 🙂

Do it! 🙂
How do you like the GoPro and smart remote? I am contemplating that purchase but got overwhelmed with decisions on accessories. Do you use some type of tripod with the remote? I wonder how to do the cool underwater swim shots…

I love my GoPro and remote, and think you would, too. I have a very solid selfie stick that folds up shorter. One end of the stick has the waterproof case for the GoPro to fit in, and the other end has a little tripod that you can unscrew out of the tube, flip, and screw back in so the whole thing turns into a tiny tripod. I asked my friend, Kathy, how she takes her great swimming shots and she says she just sets the tripod at the bottom of the pool and swims toward it. She said that sometimes she hooks it on the lane dividers.
I think running gifts are awesome. Best gift ever? Not sure but my kayak ranks pretty high up there.

I would love a kayak, but not for rapids – I would be petrified to go down the white water on the Potomac at Great Falls. When we were in Chicago in September we did a kayak tour on the Chicago River that was really fun, and much more my speed!
Great list!! Running gifts are highly welcomed in our circle lol. I have two races the first part of the year so those are on my wish list lol.

Yes they are! 😀
Fabulous list!! I’m thinking the must have item for runners is the Go Pro! I know it’s on my wish list!! 🙂
I agree! I love my GoPro and it’s one of the most used gifts I’ve gotten recently.
I love this list and that you’ve got all the price points in there! There’s lots of stuff I’m asking for this year and you’ve got a lot of it on here!

Great list!! Hey if you are a runner you definitely appreciate running gifts! I have a pair of bluetooth earbuds on my list! I’m sick of the cords!!

I don’t run with music very often, but when I do, I’d love bluetooth earbuds. How awesome would it be not to constantly jerk them out of my ears accidentally while pumping my arms.
