Global Running Day

Even though I’m not running the miles I once was, I still make sure to get out for a run every year on the first Wednesday of June which is Global Running Day. With a client cancelation early in the morning, I quickly fit in a run rather than waiting until the end of the day and was rewarded with this badge from Garmin (affiliate link).

Planking into the weekend…

Saturday

Other than easy untimed 1-mile and then .5-mile walks, I took a rest day in preparation for Sunday’s Loudoun 1725 42-Mile Gravel Grinder. Spoiler alert: the rest day worked and I had an amazing ride!
