As much as I would love to run every day of the week, I have to give my body some rest; so two days a week I’ve started riding my stationary bike while watching “Hoda and Kathy Lee” recorded from the previous day. Despite the occasional squirrel running by my window, I have to have something more to entertain me when I exercise inside. Point me in a direction and I can run forever, but put me on a bike and my thighs scream after 15 minutes! Since I’m new to biking, I ride for 15 minutes, hop on the elliptical for 5 minutes, return to the bike for 15, etc. until an hour is up. My goal is to ride for 60 minutes a couple of days a week (without elliptical recovery time).
Today was one of those rare days where I didn’t have a single client to train! All of my Thursday clients had either rescheduled for yesterday or tomorrow. I took advantage of the spare time and organized my office. I still have a ways to go…

Maybe you can get the racoons to entertain you?
The raccoons certainly get my heart rate up!
