I just love it when I get totally invested in “House Hunters” on HGTV when I’m cross-training on my stationary bike, and the time flies by! Today I even kept pedaling an extra 15 minutes so I could see the end of the show. How could I possibly get in the shower without knowing which apartment the young couple in Zagreb, Croatia picked? 🙂
Expect better pictures of food when you read my blog in the future (but not today)! My friend Jessica is starting a food blog and she let me borrow her copy of Food Blogging for Dummies. I am considering getting WordPress for Dummies or Blogging for Dummies, because I still have a LOT to learn. In the meantime, I’ll just keep putting my thoughts out there and hope you enjoy them!
Once Jessica gets her blog up and running, I’ll share her link with you. She loves to cook and doesn’t just cook the typical things we all make. She’s a great experimenter and I can’t wait to follow her!
My clients got a special treat today, because I showed up with my hair and make-up done! I’m usually the ponytail type when I work. I went straight from the gym to my girlfriend’s house to pick her up for a girls night out dinner at an Italian restaurant near by. The lighting was low, and my iPhone is old (no flash), so the picture of my crabcake with spinach, roasted tomato, and pine nut orzo pasta with lemon sauce isn’t so great; but the food was!
I’m hoping to post new exercises with photos this weekend! Stay tuned!
- Questions:
- What’s your favorite HGTV show?
- If you blog, how long have you been doing it?
- Do you workout at a gym, at home, or outside?
Ha, I feel like I could use one of those books, too. I started blogging back in October and am still trying to find my flow.
I run almost exclusively outside. I try to avoid cardio machines like my life depends upon it – I just do not have the mental strength for them. For strength workouts I either go to the gym or, if I’m feeling lazy, do something at home. We got rid of cable a while ago, so I sadly don’t get HGTV anymore, but I used to be really into the home makeover shows.
I love HGTV too and am constantly watching House Hunters and all the other home-buying shows. I think my favorite is Property Virgins (but with the old host, not the new one).
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Lisa! My son and I crack up at the Property Virgins host who walks her clients down a beautiful street and asks them if they like the houses, then tell them that these houses are $500K over their budget and they need to go to the other side of town to look for a house. 🙂
