I RUN AND COACH BECAUSE:
“Life is short.
Live your dream and share your passion.”
– unknown
I CHOSE TO BECOME A PERSONAL TRAINER BECAUSE:
“There is no greater joy nor greater reward than
to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.”
– Sister Mary Rose McGeady
I RAN MY FIRST MARATHON BECAUSE:
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience
in which you stop to look fear in the face.
You must do that which you think you cannot do.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
- Questions:
- What do you do “because”?
I run because: It makes me feel amazing and helps keep me sane!
Isn’t that the truth! 🙂
That’s one fierce poster! Love it!
There’s a story behind that poster that I’ll have to write about some day. The short version is that I have an Adidas poster from the 1998 Boston Marathon hanging in our basement. EVERYONE things the running girl is me, so Bill decided to make a poster for me as a surprise. My poster picture was from an ad campaign for the gym I worked for at the time, advertising our marathon training program and introducing the coach…
Love the poster!
I run because it’s part of who I am. Things I have learned in running apply to other aspects of life. I’ve learned to take things one mile at a time, one step at a time.
