Today I am super excited to be featured on Carly Pizzani’s blog Fine Fit Day, and to be placed alongside so many other fit mamas! Please hop on over to her blog and check out Fit Mama Friday, and while you’re there, check out Carly’s other great articles about living a healthy lifestyle!
Carly is a fellow personal trainer, runner, and health and fitness blogger. She is also a freelance writer, mama to a rampaging toddler, and an ex-pat Aussie living in Brooklyn. Keeping mamas (and mamas-to-be) fit, healthy, and motivated is what she loves most about her job.
Carly is a pretty fit mama herself. She is looking to run a sub 1:45 half marathon at either the Brooklyn Half or the Vermont Covered Bridges Half coming up in the next few weeks. Please join me in sending speedy wishes her way!

I raced last weekend and my body could use a little break! I was sore sore sore as could be for a few days!

Hope you’re recovering well! If the weather is as beautiful where you are as it is here, perhaps an easy shake-out run is in order.
Enjoyed your feature Deb!
No races for me this weekend – icing my knee instead!

Thanks, Sherry! Hope the knee is ready to run soon! Did you tweak it on the 5K?
We’re going to our cabin this weekend so I’ll miss the Derby 🙁 but my Mom will be watching and texting me highlights. She usually goes to it but the last few years she has just watched it on TV. No need to plant flowers for spring, mine grow year round. Florida, gotta love it 😉

I’m not hugely into horse racing, but love watching the three races that make up the triple crown. I still remember how excited I was to see Secretariat win! And yes, I know that I am dating myself!
Year round flowers would be nice, but I’d miss the snow! Although this year’s ‘colder than usual/snowier than usual’ winter almost did me in.
What a fabulous blogger!) I am a fit mama too. You brighten my day Debbie!
