- Questions:
- Who’s joining me for this fun event?
- How would you list these three things in order of preference: food, wine, running (favorite first)? ~ food, running, wine
- Who’s racing this weekend?
I’m still a few weeks away from racing, but I will race again. Can’t wait!
My three are food, running and wine. You didn’t really think I’d put running over food, did you? But it did surpass wine.

Yay, it sounds like all of us running bloggers are having an effect on you! I put running in front of wine, but I’m not sure I’d put it in front of margaritas!
Your tweet your feet were my old shoes! 🙂
That race sounds super fun!

Oh cool! Which shoes?
Mizuno Wave Inspire 9’s. I have the 10’s now though.

I think I’d go Food Running Wine too. Though my opinion may change depending on the time of day 🙂
That sounds like a fun weekend. I love it when races are more like big events that draw in more than just the running community. It kind of lets non-runners see what we’re all about.

They have three locations scheduled for this year: San Diego, Austin, and Fairfax. Hopefully, this will go to more cities next year! Like you, I love the concept!
This literally sounds awesome. I’m not sure with our wedding quickly approaching, if there’s any way on this earth that I can steal away for a race, but I will see what I can do!

If you do find time to run the race, please let me know so we can meet! When’s your wedding? My son is getting married on August 2!
Ohhhh, I can’t wait to read all about this event. Sounds like a blast. I’m not a fan of wine, but substitute in a few cocktails, and I’m golden. It’s a toss up between food & running, but as far as progression through a weekend, I’d order them this way. Running, food, cocktail. The running justifies the insane amounts of yummy food I’d love to consume!

I don’t like wine either!! I thought I was the odd one. K- when we meet one day, we’ll have a variety of cocktails and running!

And I’ll play bartender because I have some great cocktail recipes!
I’m a much bigger fan of cocktails than wine, too, but I do like a good glass of wine with dinner.
That sounds like such a fun event – I wish I lived close enough to attend!!!

They’ll be in Austin, TX September 12-14. Do you have relatives near there? I think I remember reading that you’re a Texan at heart!
Sounds like an awesome weekend- congratulations!!
My order: food/running/Caesar instead of wine!

I’m assuming auto-correct changed cocktails to Caesar! HaHa!!! Love it!
So excited for this!

Food, running, wine. Same as you 🙂 Looks like a fun event! We will be running the Downtown Sundown 5K in Blacksburg that weekend. It’s the one that starts at sundown and you run on the Huckleberry Trail and surrounding neighborhoods with glow sticks.

The Downtown Sundown 5K sounds like a fun event! There was a color run at one of our nearby high schools this weekend, but we were out of town so I missed it! It’s on my bucket list for fun runs, too!
So cool. I would totally run if I were in the area. This would be my ranking (food – running – wine). No races, just finished four races in four weeks. Lots of fun

After four races in four weeks, you deserved the weekend off!
