Top Ten Reasons
I’m happy that tomorrow is National Running Day…
10. I get to plan a party on the trail (group run); this time in the evening.
9. I get to see the Cruisers mid-week for a special run.
8. I get to see my MRTT friends when I’m actually awake.
7. I get to introduce my very cool Cruiser friends to my equally awesome MRTT friends.
6. I get to run at any pace I feel like, just for the fun of it.
5. I’ll get to run in the hot evening humidity (insert sarcasm).
4. I’ll have tons of pictures to post on Instagram.
3. It gives me a topic to write about for two days.
2. It gives gives me an opportunity for a bonus workout.
1. Since I’ll be running, and dinner won’t cook itself, we’ll have to stop at Subway on our way home.
- Questions:
- What are your National Running Day plans?
- Do you prefer to run in the early morning, mid-day, or the evening?
- What are you having for dinner tonight, tomorrow night?
Great pics I recognize some of those MRTT mamas. I’m celebrating NRD by hosting a fun run at Road Runner in Falls Church tomorrow night for Rock n Roll you should do your group run with us!

I bet you know Dora. She runs with several other running groups. One of these days we have plan a big group run with our combined chapters!
Great list. We are looking into a group run for National Running Day. I prefer to run early in the morning but that is when the Mrs. runs so I run at night most of the time. Dinner tonight is whatever is in the table lol.

Your comment tells me that you have young children and you have to stagger your runs so one of you is home with them. My hubby and I had to do that for years, but now our kids are grown and we can run together!
Yay for National Running Day! I will probably go out on one last trail run before my race on Friday!
Good luck at your relay!
I think I’ll probably get out there for a couple of miles tomorrow. It’ll be my first run since Tough Mudder on Saturday so we’ll see how that goes. LOL

Sadly I won’t be running on National Running Day. I’d love to ride my bike outside to honour it, but it’s supposed to be a monsoon here tomorrow!
