Autumn Beauty
Without rain the past couple of weeks and minimal wind, we’ve had one of the most beautiful and longest peak seasons of any fall I can remember. I tried to get outside as much as I could this week and I enjoyed every moment!

I’m linking up with Deborah at Confessions of a Mother Runner and Kim from Running on the Fly for their Weekly Run Down. Be sure to check out not only the hosts’ posts, but those of the other great bloggers joining in on the fun!
Those leaves are gorgeous!! I do love this time of year in terms of the beauty- the yellow and red leaves against blue skies is something to marvel at. But nor ready for cooler temps and winter!
We’ve had a beautiful fall, and yes, I wish fall last longer and winter was shorter.
Nice pics!! And awesome job on the trash clean-up…reminds me I need to grab a bag (or two) and go plogging again. Our leaves seemed a bit late in changing, but the past couple weeks or so, things are looking beautiful.
That’s right, you’re really good at plogging.
How is the surgery recovery going? Sounds like you were very active this week. No colorful trees here- but I’m truly enjoying everyone’s pictures! I can appreciate it vicariously.
The Velopigs sure picked up a lot of trash- that must have felt good!
Thanks for asking – today was 10 days post-surgery so I could resume regular workouts and started with a run. 😀
Yes, it felt great to help the VeloPigs gather all of that trash. Too bad people throw it out in the first place.
We really have had some amazing weather this past month. If only we could bottle that up!
Wouldn’t that be nice!
Love those trees! It seems like we are in peak color now — maybe next weekend too. Our neighborhood has some gorgeous colors with a bit of green under the oranges and red.
What a great volunteer project!
This has been one of the most beautiful falls I can remember.
We’ve had a beautiful fall this year! The colors and the weather has been wonderful! My favorite workout was that mountain run in California. It was so different and so beautiful.
Your mountain run in California sounded so fun!
what an awesome volunteer project!
It’s so pretty in your area now! Fall is so stunning.
So are you feeling pretty much back to normal?
Thankfully, I am feeling 100% back to normal. How are you?
Looks like you enjoyed nice weather and beautiful fall colors! Our colors are mostly over now but it’s been one of the nicest falls I can recall. Super nice weather overall and the colors have been stunning.
Yes, we’re loving this incredibly beautiful fall.
Wow – you and your crew definitely cover a lot of space during the clean up. Thanks so much for doing that! It always drives me crazy when people throw trash out of their cars – ugh!
The photos you shared of the trees are so gorgeous! I’m trying to appreciate all the trees now before they lose all their leaves 🙁
Yes, it won’t be long until they’re barren and boring – well, until they’re snow covered occasionally this winter.
You all are awesome for doing all of that clean up!
The trees there are beautiful! Sadly our color is fading, but the weather is still wonderful!
I’m hoping our leaves will hold on for another week. It’s supposed to be unseasonably warm this week, too.
I’m so glad you’re back on the bike! That’s awesome!
Thank you for helping to clean up litter. That’s fantastic.
No race this past weekend.
