Loved this post! It was like a poem and it was very inspirational. Thank you for this one 🙂
Thanks, Meagan!
Love this post! Kept thinking, “me too!”
Also love it for that GW Parkway race shirt. I have that shirt too. It was my first-ever race. I ran the 5K that year wondering if I could actually finish and being so intimidated by all the 10-mile runners (and thinking they were just crazy). I think finishing that race is when I really got hooked. This year I’ll run the 10 miler, having put in more 10+ mile runs than I can remember.
Thanks, Amanda!
Can’t wait to run on Sunday with you. We’re going to have a good Cruiser turn-out!
Loved this!!
My sister and BIL are also running the GW Parkway 10 miler…I’ll be biking along the course to cheer them on and I’ll keep an eye out for you, too!!!
I’ll look for you, too! I plan to run the first five miles and then my friend and I might run/walk the last five miles since she’s battling a little injury, too. So if you see me walking, don’t tell anyone!!!
Ha, I won’t. That’s nice of you to run (and run/walk) with her, though!
This same friend walked almost the entire course with me last year when I was injured (we ran for 1-2 minutes at each mile marker), so it’s the least I can do for her. Plus, I’m not 100% since my recent little injury…
I love this post! It was therapeutic to read it… I’m sure you felt good writing it. It was almost like I could feel you gaining momentum throughout the post!
(Awesome jacket, btw!)
Thanks, Stephanie! Hungry Runner Girl had the jacket on in one of her pictures promoting it for Brooks, and the second I saw it, I knew I had to have it. It fits really nicely and I just love the color. Good product placement on Brooks’ part! I wonder how many others ordered it! 🙂
Great post! I can totally relate to several of them!
This is beautiful.
Thanks, Cori!
I love this post! Brought a big smile to my face. Running is the best!
This is awesome, and so true. I am a runner too and feel the same way about almost every single thing!
