This morning I woke up like a little kid on Christmas morning because it’s National Running Day! If you remember, 100 days ago today I started the countdown in my post Sunny Sunday! First thing I’m going to do today is go for a run with my BRF Susan, and then later today I’m running with the Cruisers in a special mid-week run just to celebrate this special day!
Stay tuned for a post later today with the details of my first ever give-away! I will be giving a copy of one of my favorite running books, Born To Run, to one lucky reader!
But first… I have to train some clients. Why didn’t I think of taking this holiday off? 🙂
- Questions:
- What are doing today to celebrate?
- Do you have to work today, too?
- Have you read Born To Run?
Happy Running Day!! I went on a run with Zoey and had a lot of fun! I have 5 days left before I start work! And I’ve never read that book so I will definitely enter the giveaway 🙂
Is Zoey a good running partner? Good luck with the giveaway!
Yeah she actually is! I found that she was a really good pacer. And it was like she knew we were running because she didn’t stop to smell anything haha. She can only go a few miles but it definitely makes it more entertaining!
I like that I RUN… I run to get away from the chores in my house!
Love it!
Happy National Running Day!! Ran 3 miles. Well I technically don’t have a job, but I guess you would call it a 24/7 job (stay at home mom). 🙂
You have the most important job in the world! 🙂
I did have to teach today! Way to go – celebrating with TWO runs!
This whole week has been run-less and it’s driving me crazy. I haven’t let this happen in over a year. Tomorrow I’m going to go for a 4-5 mile run and I. Can’t. Wait.
Hope you had a happy National Running Day! I celebrated by going for a run (duh :-P) with my husband. I had to work, but I am petitioning that National Running Day be added as a state holiday in VA so that I can have the day off next year 🙂
I have read Born to Run a few times and I love that book!!
I’ll sign your petition! 🙂
