I have enjoyed running since I was 41. Why would I like to attend a virtual run? It would be a first for me doing a virtual run. At the young age of 57 young why not? I’m training at the moment for my 1st full marathon, one of many things on my bucket list & another one would be a virtual run. It would be an honor to be picked, another wonderful addition to my completed bucket list ~ happy Valentine’s day!
Two things – I love that you’re training for your first full marathon at 57 and I love that you consider 57 young. I’m 59 and feel quite young, too! 😀
Good luck!
Truly a perfect V-day gift! Would love to be a part of the runner’s virtual summit. Being really new to the running game, it does get intimidating with all the information that’s out there. The timing is perfect! Will need all the motivation and words of wisdom and expertise as I tip toe to the start line of my first half marathon next month.
How awesome that you’re running a half marathon so early in your running career! And you’re right, there’s soooo much information out there and so much to learn.
Good luck!
Of course you should pick me-birthday buddy, MRTT love, VA runner, For the love of Debs lol. Sounds like a great group of presenters would love to participate.

Oh man, I’m feeling the pressure! LOL
Good luck!
Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
I’d love to join the Real Runners Summit because I know it would give me ann opportunity to gather more knowledge about all aspects of running – training plans, types of runs to do, nutrition, strength training. etc. I think it would give tips on how to be a great runner overall. I have a goal this year to PR in the marathon distance, so I appreciate any help I can get!
One question I have for the summit is – How do you fit it all in?
Strength training/cross training is so important when training, but it can be hard to fit it in with all of the running required for training for a half marathon, or a marathon!
Have a great Valentine’s Day!

I feel sure Lauren will address your topic in her segment titled: Strength Training For Runners.” With registration you’ll also receive her “Time Management Tips.” Both should answer your questions.
Good luck!

I would love to participate in the Real Runner Virtual Summit! I just had my first baby in October and am trying to start over after having to take 6 months off from running. I developed Severe Pelvic Dysfunction while pregnant and had to stop running last July. I’m currently doing couch to 5K with my sixth grade girls (I’m a teacher), but I really need some focused help to get back to running well. I am registered for the GW Parkway and Cherry Blossom 10 milers and could really use help meeting the goal of running these without any walking. Thanks for the opportunity!
Awww, congrats on your new baby!
I’ve run both the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler and GW Parkway 10-Miler many times and love them both. I have recaps of both on my blog in case you’re interested in reading about either race. You can find the recaps on my Race Recaps tab.
Good luck!
I am feeling lucky! After multiple injuries and surgeries, I really thought my running days were coming to an end two years ago. I was told by a surgeon to find another “hobby”. Running and my running friendships meant too much to me to accept that fate. I went for a second, third and fourth opinion and found a tribe that believed in me. These days I am back to running and have started a MRTT chapter in Delaware. Next month, I am taking the RRCA run coach certification course. I may not put in the mileage like the past or run PRs but I’m grateful to be out there again. I would love to attend the summit to broaden my run knowledge to share with other women runners.
ps – I love dark chocolate
Hi Michelle! How cool that you’ve started an MRTT chapter in your new hometown (we miss you down here)! I took the RRCA coaching course a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I think you will, too.
Good luck!
I love learning. And I love running (most of the time).
My question would be what are your top 5 exercises/drills (more if you want!) to help prevent injury?
I try to be very careful about how I run, strength train, warm up (usually), foam roll (usually), and yet I still end up with nagging injuries.
And hey, Valentine’s Day was my birthday. 🙂 This would make an awesome birthday present.

I hope you had a fantastic birthday/Valentine’s Day! Do you get to celebrate them as separate events or does your hubby make you double-up?
I bet Dr. Karp’s summit presentation “Common Injuries and Prevention” would answer your question; however, that sounds like a great topic for a future blog post. Stay tuned!
Good luck!
